Cabopol is part of Mekkin SGPS, a Portuguese multinational holding company that includes several companies operating in the steel construction, engineering, and polymer sectors. The group operates across three core industrial areas and has a total production area of approximately 200 km² worldwide.
Mekkin runs nine production facilities, five in Portugal, two in Morocco, one in Serbia, and one in Mexico, and employs more than 1,000 people, including 519 direct and around 500 indirect employees. Its industrial activity is supported by offices in Algeria, France, Romania, and the United Kingdom, serving more than 100 customers across over 100 countries. Within the group, Cabopol is responsible for the development and supply of polymer compounds for a wide range of applications.
