Management Systems & Performance

ISO Sustainability Logo

ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications ensuring process control, environmental performance, continuous improvement and responsible resource management.

Ecovadis Logo

In 2026, Cabopol will adopt the EcoVadis assessment system to strengthen sustainability governance, benchmark performance and identify targeted improvement areas.

Logo of Recyclass

RecyClass Traceability Certification reinforces transparency and credibility in the use of recycled plastics, ensuring controlled material flows.

Sustainable Products

Recycled Compounds

Compounds incorporating recycled raw materials
from post-consumer and/or post-industrial sources.

Formulations certified under the RecyClass
Traceability scheme.

BIOBASED Compounds

Bio-Based polymers: produced wholly or partly from
renewable biological sources, replacing fossil-based feedstocks.

Bio-attributed polymers: with renewable content
allocated through mass balance certified schemes.

SECOND LIFE

By-products are requalified as secondary raw
materials, not sold as waste, supporting safe and
compliant uses in other sectors.

Product Carbon
Footprint

Calculations performed internally, using validated
methodologies and dedicated software. Evaluation
of product sustainability performance and
environmental impacts.

Sustainable PROCESS

Energy Efficiency

Implementation of energy efficiency measures, such
as chilled water plant with free-cooling systems
optimization and electrical energy monitoring and
metering systems on each production line.

GREEN ENERGY

On-site renewable electricity generation through
in-house solar energy covers on average 15% of our
total annual consumption, reaching up to 40% of
production during periods of higher solar exposure.

Re-Compounding

In-house recycling capabilities supported by
investment in dedicated equipment for reprocessing
PIR and PCR materials.

Develop sustainable solutions to improve plastic
product recyclability.

Resource Recovery

We are legally licensed to operate as a waste
management operator, ensuring full autonomy in the
treatment and management of internal and external
waste streams, including reintegration and
reprocessing activities within our operations.

Product Carbon Footprint

Compliant with ISO 14067 and ISO 14040, our carbon footprint calculations follow internationally recognized methodologies and have been validated by an independent external entity.

For each reference, we are able to provide the Product Carbon Footprint in CO₂-eq upon request, as well as full LCA information, according to the specific needs of each client.
